Kerri Anderson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist graduating from Fairfield University in 2011. She is also trained in Internal Family Systems ( IFS) therapy model as well as being an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Kerri founded Anderson Counseling and Wellness, PLLC in June 2018 to help children, adults, and families struggling with a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and adjustments. Kerri’s clinical focus is working with ADHD in children and adults, having also acquired certification as an ADHD- CCSP ( ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider) as of 6/2021.
Kerri also specializes working with Anxiety in both adults and children using various modalities of treatment, including Family Systems, Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as a deep understanding of our sensory systems and nervous systems responses to stress and anxiety.
Kerri is also a SPACE trained provider. SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a scientifically proven parent based program for children with anxiety and OCD developed by Eli Lebowitz, PhD at Yale’s School of Medicine. In addition to her time with clients, Kerri also enjoys working with other therapists providing supervision and consultations as well as teaching in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.
