Kerri Anderson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist graduating from Fairfield University in 2011 with a strong focus on Structural and Strategic Family Therapy models. She is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Kerri is Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy model as well as being recently basic trained in EMDR. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York.
Kerri founded Anderson Counseling and Wellness, PLLC in June 2018 to help individuals, children, and families struggling with a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and adjustments.
Another current clinical focus of Kerri’s is working with ADHD children ages 8+, adolescents, and adults. Kerri is passionate about creating an affirming space for wellness and mental health support with the neurodivergent ( ADHD and Autistic) person in mind.
In addition to her time with clients, Kerri also enjoys working with other therapists providing supervision and consultations as well as teaching in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. In her free time Kerri is a competitive powerlifter, also recently studying Trauma- Informed Weightlifting.
